Gardens
INTRODUCTION
This has been a perfect year to begin a showcase on the website for our gardens. The Spring and early Summer of 2009 delivered the coolest temperatures and most consistent rains I’ve ever experienced in Virginia. And the gardens were ready for their best performance yet. It has been six years since Lynn and I decided to redesign the entire spread of our property and began the long work of clearing out and replanting everything as well as building fences and decks and constructing stone walkways to connect all locations. It is a work of love for us both and always a work in progress. I will be developing this portfolio in a number of directions over the next couple of months. It is here to share with any of you who have an interest and I am always interested in your comments and questions.
